Description: Areas encompassing known fisheries vessel activity at or near a community or other potential fish landing or processing facility. These locations include commercial fishing marinas, docks, select bays/shoreline areas, and known inshore fish processing areas (Alaska only).This layer is part of the 'PacVes' spatial framework system to enable marine fisheries data applications used by PSMFC and our partners. The extent of the layers currently cover all of PSMFC's member states as well as other fishing ports throughout the Pacific Ocean.
